Facial Emotion Recognition Using Optimization Technique

Facial Emotion Expressions plays an important role in interpersonal relations.This is because human convey lot of information visually than verbally.To automate recognition of emotion state,machine should taught to understand facial guestures.In this paper we classify emotion expression through Support Vector Machine(SVM) & Hidden Markov Model (HMM),then Hidden Markov Model is optimized using Glowworm Swarm Optimization(GSO)to get better accuracy.The system was tested on Japanese Female Facila Expression dataset of frontal view facial expression.
